User tests
Task: Sign up for an account and view your dashboard.
Feedback:
User 1 completed the sign-up quickly and said the process felt smooth and straightforward. They liked the minimal design of the dashboard but weren’t sure what to do next until they saw the "Create Map" button?? Suggested a quick onboarding tip or welcome message could help guide new users.
Task: Upload a custom map image and edit it and upload
Feedback:
User 2 found the upload feature intuitive and liked the editing interface. They suggested showing a brief prompt like “Click a pin to add a description.” The only thing they can do on my prototype is click on the shapes button so they kind of got lost.
Task: Browse and open a public map made by other users.
Feedback:
User 4 said the explore section was easy to navigate and visually appealing. They liked the variety of maps but wished there were quick filters (like “Fantasy” or “Real World”) to help narrow things down. Otherwise, everything worked as expected.
